Seth McCloskey earned his undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University where he graduated, magna cum laude, with a double major in Speech Communication & Political Science. While at Stephen F. Austin, he was a member of Alpha Chi National Honor Society and Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. He was also an academic scholarship recipient.
Seth went on to obtain his law degree from the University of Toledo in 2009 where he received the prestigious Reinberger Honors Fellowship. At the University of Toledo, Seth was a Fornoff Appellate Advocacy Finalist and a Landskroner Foundation for Children Closing Argument Winner. He was also President of the Business Law Society and a Trial Advocacy Team and Moot Court member.
Professionally, Seth has worked as a Senior Trial Attorney, aggressively representing individuals and families in cases involving serious injury or death. He has experience as a bankruptcy litigator under a Chapter 7 Trustee and has worked as a Justice of the Peace, misdemeanor and felony prosecutor with the Ellis County & District Attorney’s Office. Seth has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Navarro College and Tarleton State University where he taught various legal courses.
