Julie Glisan received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in Business Psychology. She received her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego and graduated with a special concentration in Health Law and Policy. During law school, she was a member of the Health Law Society and focused her studies on health care reform and issues related to public policy. As such, she completed a clinical internship in Washington D.C., working for the Department of Health and Human Services, Medicare Appeals Council. In this position, she assessed and analyzed decisions of administrative law judges and drafted orders and final administrative decisions for administrative appeals judges.
Prior to joining Pines Salomon Injury Lawyers, APC., Ms. Glisan worked for several law firms in San Diego in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. She enjoys personal injury law and working as a plaintiff’s attorney because she loves helping others. Ms. Glisan spends a great deal of time personally interacting and communicating with clients and strives to ensure that every client has an understanding of the legal process and their individual cases through personalized support and attention.
In her spare time, Ms. Glisan is an avid and dedicated volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association and The Salvation Army. She has been a figure skating instructor for almost 20 years and enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, and snowboarding.
