Ben Michael was born in Austin, Texas and later attended the University of Florida where he earned his B.A. in Political Science. He then earned his J.D. from Loyola Marymount, School of Law in Los Angeles. Ben is an avid Gators fan to this day.
After school in L.A., Ben chose to practice law in his home state of Texas. Ben primarily focuses on criminal defense and has defended his clients in cases ranging from a traffic violation to 1st degree felonies. He is an accomplished civil litigator as well. Ben handles business disputes, federal employment violations, and family law cases all over the State of Texas. Ben is also a specialized DWI Attorney with an emphasis on defending those that are trying to understanding the DWI laws in Texas, defending their 2nd DWI in Texas or have been arrested for DWI in Texas and want to know how to formulate a defense. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas and all Texas State courts. Ben has most recently been recognized as a 2018 Rising Star for his achievements by the American Institute of Legal Advocates.
