Aissa L. Barrera earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas in 2019. She graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into St. Mary’s distinguished John M. Harlan Society, an honorary organization that recognizes students who have excelled academically and graduated in the top 10% of their class.
While pursuing her law degree, Aissa wrote for the St. Mary’s Law Journal. During her three years at St. Mary’s, Aissa clerked for Hilliard Martinez Gonzales gaining valuable practical experience in a variety of practice areas, including automobile accidents and wrongful death cases.
