Attorney Robert Blau has served the residents of Northern Kentucky since 1982, when he joined his brother Bernie Blau and A.J. Jolly at the law firm of Jolly & Blau PSC, and now known a Blau & Kriege PLLC. Bob and his partner Greg Kriege serve all of Northern Kentucky and the greater Cincinnati area, including Campbell County, Boone County, Pendleton County, Grant County, Mason County, Bracken County, and Kenton County.

The Blau family’s roots in Northern Kentucky date back to the early 1800s. The family is well-known to many people locally. Like other members of his family who have served in public and judicial offices, Bob is deeply devoted to the community. He joined his brother to practice as soon as he graduated from law school and has been practicing here ever since. It is a testament to Bob’s compassion and dedication that many of his clients are referred by former clients that he has helped with legal issues.

Bob represents clients in personal injury cases, including car, truck, and motorcycle accidents; product liability; slip and fall accidents (also called premises liability); medical malpractice; nursing home negligence cases, and wrongful death claims. He also handles divorce, custody, and support cases, as well as matters involving eminent domain and criminal defense. Bob is thorough in his investigations and evaluation of every situation. You can be confident he will handle your case with superior attention to detail and commitment.

Committed to Success for Clients

One of Bob’s personal injury cases resulted in the largest jury verdict ever won in Northern Kentucky federal court at the time it was decided. As part of the overall verdict of $8.7 million, Bob won $2.7 million for a 6-year-old child whose mother and 10-month-old brother were killed in a head-on collision with a semi-trailer truck on I-75. In addition, Bob has been recognized for his Northern Kentucky jury verdicts in the The Kentucky Trial Court Review. View more Case Results.

Legal Services throughout the Greater Cincinnati Area

While he is not licensed in Ohio, Bob consults with clients from both Ohio and Kentucky to coordinate cases with local Hamilton County and Clermont County Ohio attorneys: Ohio legal services may be performed by licensed Ohio attorneys, or through Bob’s pro hac vice (temporary) admission to the Ohio court where the case is being decided. He has handled several jury trials in Ohio as co-counsel with an Ohio-licensed attorney.

Free Consultations and Injury Cases on a Contingent Fee Basis

When Bob accepts a personal injury case, he takes it on a contingent fee basis. The fee is “contingent” because if there is no recovery, the client does not pay a fee. The firm also pays advance costs for expenses like medical records reports, video taped depositions, engineering, and expert fees.

Blau & Kriege strongly believes that a potential client should know his or her legal rights and understand what to expect before making any decision about legal representation. Because of that, for any type of matter, your first consultation with Bob is always free. Additional information on fees at Blau & Kriege is included on our Fees page.
