After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nicholls State University in 2009, Thibodaux native Benjamin Anthony Comeaux entered the police force and accounting industry before becoming a lawyer. Comeaux then attended the Southern University Law Center where he graduated cum laude in 2014.
While working toward his law degree, Comeaux was an intern for the Orleans Public Defenders Office and an intern for the Honorable John L. Weimer, Associate Justice for the Louisiana Supreme Court, where he reviewed and analyzed writs submitted to the Supreme Court. Comeaux also worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for a Louisiana District Court Judge and eventually opened his own law firm.
In addition to his private practice, Comeaux is a member of the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department and is the President/Treasurer of the Lafourche Parish Bar Association.
