Ada is a California native who moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington School of Law.

During law school, Ada served as Executive Managing Editor of Production on the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal.  She was also very active in Moot Court competitions and represented her law school at the Thomas Tang International Moot Court Competitions as a regional semi-finalist in both Los Angeles and Atlanta.  After graduating from law school, she served as a coach for mock trial and appellate advocacy teams at the law school.

Prior to starting AKW Law, P.C., she worked as a Civil Litigation Attorney at two plaintiff-oriented law firms, in Bellevue and downtown Seattle.

Ada is also an Adjunct Professor at the Seattle University School of Law.

Further, she currently serves as the Associate Editor of the WSAJ Trial News, Editorial Board Member of the American Inns of Court The Bencher, and Public Relations Chair of the William L. Dwyer American Inns of Court.  She was the Past-President of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Washington.  Ada has authored many published articles and is a speaker at various lawyer’s continuing legal education seminars.

In her spare time, Ada enjoys playing co-ed flag football, volunteering with various executive boards and committees, and spending time with her husband and three cats, Matcha, Kylo and Soba.
