Attorney Veronica Cordova is an associate attorney at Shane, Shane & Brauwerman. She was born in California and raised in Ecuador and Panama.

Following her graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Miami she applied for and was accepted into the venerated Teach for America program. Veronica served as a Teach for America Corps Member by teaching at William Turner Technical Arts High School in Miami-Dade for three years.

While working on her law degree at St. Thomas University she was accepted into the St. Thomas Immigration Clinic. As a clinic member Veronica represented indigent clients struggling with a wide variety of immigration issues ranging from asylum applications to removal proceedings and Violence Against Women Act petitions. She was awarded the Cali Excellence for the Future Award for her work there.

After graduating with her Juris Doctorate and passing the Florida Bar she has worked as an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Shane, Shane and Brauwerman, specializing in immigration law. She is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association South Florida Chapter.
