Miesha is a licensed attorney in Texas and is currently practicing at our Georgetown location. She handles Williamson County misdemeanors, felonies, and juvenile cases. She also serves as co-counsel to our Managing Partner on many of his cases. Miesha discovered her passion for criminal law after one of her first clients hugged her with tears rolling down his face and stated “you have no idea what this means to me. You just saved my entire career.” She is grateful for the opportunity to help people that have lost hope. Miesha cannot promise you 20 years of trial experience, but what she can promise you is an attorney that will take a genuine interest in your case; one that will go above and beyond to explore every option for the best result, AND one that will be there for you in your time of need. Miesha attended Baylor University where she pursued an undergraduate degree in Sociology/Pre-law and served as the President of her sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She also served as the Vice President of the NAACP and was inducted into two honor societies while remaining on the Dean’s List for four straight semesters. Miesha pursued her law degree at Louisiana State University, where it never rains in Death Valley. During her time at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Miesha had the privilege of participating in several moot court and mock trial competitions. Most notably, she won the National Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition, where she was named the competition’s best overall oralist. She also won the LSU Ira S. Flory Trial Advocacy Competition, where she was named the competition’s third-best overall oralist.
