Laura Strasser has worked in the legal field for over 30 years starting her career as a paralegal, which gave her the foundation and motivation to become a well-rounded attorney.  After graduating top of her class at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, she founded a business, Legal Concepts, which provided legal research and writing on complex legal issues for many law firms practicing in the Sacramento region.  She also used her skills to teach legal courses to paralegals at MTI College, including Advanced Civil Litigation, Employment Law, Personal Injury, Family Law and other general litigation matters.  In 2009 she began her law practice, Strasser Law Corporation.  In 2013, 2015 and 2017 Laura was voted the “Best of the Best”  Attorney by Auburn Journal readers. She is also a 2017 and 2018 Lawyer of Distinction. As an Auburn Chamber of Commerce member and President of the Placer County Bar Association, Laura is actively involved in the community acting as a liaison between attorneys (including family law, personal injury, civil, criminal, estate, etc.), judges, and justices.

Putting to use her years of experience in various fields of law, Laura’s practice focuses on divorce and children issues, personal injury, and wills and trusts.  Laura is known for her involvement with high profile cases, including battles against former California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to protect the rights of families victimized by crime.  Laura has worked with a number of organizations  including the Sacramento Crisis Nursery, Sacramento Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA),  National Crime Victim Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of California and Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association.  Laura is active in the Auburn Rotary and currently is on the executive board of the Placer County Bar Association.  Laura has helped countless individuals navigate through the legal system.  She prides herself on being a tenacious and tireless advocate for her clients and is there for them from the moment she takes their case until the moment it is favorably resolved.
