As a former Prosecutor, Attorney Jordan E. Knabb is an experienced trial lawyer handling Criminal, Traffic, OVI and CPO cases. Jordan also focuses his practice in the area of Domestic Relations, including divorce and child custody matters. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Jordan was raised in a small town where he played baseball, basketball, golf and ran track at Scott High School. Jordan graduated 4th in his High School Class where he also served as the National Honor Society President. Jordan later attended the University of Charleston (WV) where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Political Science in 2012. Jordan was named Freshman of the Year in 2009 and went on to be the first Freshman to ever be elected Student Body President. After serving as the Student Body President and Student Representative for the University’s Board of Trustees, Jordan turned his sights toward Law School. In 2015, Jordan graduated from the University of Akron School of Law after focusing his studies in the areas of criminal law and domestic relations. Upon graduating law school, Jordan became an Assistant City Prosecutor for the City of Akron. After obtaining many successful verdicts and plea agreements as a Prosecutor, Jordan joined Hoover Kacyon in 2017. Jordan brings years of experience in the areas of litigation and criminal law to the firm, where he now focuses most extensively on the firm’s criminal and traffic practice group. Jordan has successfully defended numerous individuals charged with felonies, misdemeanors, OVI’s and traffic violations through both jury trials and amended plea agreements. Jordan has successfully defended speeding tickets all the way up to felony drug trafficking cases. While many attorneys will expect you to accept the first offer that comes across the desk, Jordan is not afraid to fight a case through suppression hearings and jury trials. Jordan prides himself on getting you through the criminal and domestic relations courts all across Northeast Ohio. When he is not in the courtroom, Jordan enjoys playing golf, kayaking, and spending time with his family. Jordan is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Akron Bar Association.
