Chris Denuna has represented everyone from CEOs, doctors, nurses, lawyers, judges, police officers, teachers, professional athletes, truck drivers, and just hard-working people with all kinds of backgrounds and careers. Chris was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended one of the top college-preparatory schools in the state, St. Martin’s Episcopal School. Chris wasn’t only a scholar; next Chris attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a Division I student-athlete on a full athletic soccer scholarship. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, Chris was offered a minority scholarship to attend Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he graduated and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2014.

While attending Charlotte School of Law, Chris was named to the Dean’s List in 2013 and 2014, participated on the Charlotte School of Law Moot Court and Mock Trial teams, received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Trial Practice, graduated from the selective Charlotte School of Law Advanced Criminal Advocacy Program, and accumulated over 340 hours of pro bono service.

After his first year of law school, he clerked at The Law Office of Charles L. Morgan, Jr. in Charlotte, NC that was a criminal-defense focused firm, and received his certification for the Student Practice Rule as well as his Third-Year Practice Certificate.

After Chris’ first year of law school, Chris was hired as a summer law clerk at the DWI specialized firm, Trichter & Murphy, PC in Houston. After serving as a law clerk for two consecutive summers, he was admitted to practice in Texas in 2014.

He is currently a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA), the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association (HCCLA), the Houston Bar Association (HBA), Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA), DUI Defense Lawyer’s Association (DUIDLA), and National College of DUI Defense (NCDD).

He often practices in Harris County, Montgomery, Fort Bend, Galveston, Chambers, Liberty, Waller, Brazoria, Wharton, Bell, Polk, Washington, Dallas, Tarrant, Bexar, Travis, and pretty much anywhere you need him in the State of Texas.
